Landmarks at Night

Presented by Landmarks, the public art program of The University of Texas at Austin at William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center

The Landmarks public art collection is accessible 24/7 and many of the works are beautifully lit in the evening. Sculptures that spark thoughtful and dynamic conversation under the bright sun suddenly become quiet and contemplative, twinkling under the night sky.

Join Landmarks on Sunday, 1 December at 5 p.m. at the William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center (WCP) rooftop for an extended walking tour. The tour will begin with a viewing of the hour-long light sequence at James Turrell’s Skyspace The Color Inside and conclude at Ben Rubins’ And That’s The Way It Is. Space is limited to 25 people; reserve your spot at landmarks@austin.utexas.edu.
