KaBOOM! Hosts First-Ever Volunteer Playground Construction in Austin Park

Presented by Austin Parks Foundation at Wooten Neighborhood Park

On Wednesday, November 6th, hundreds of volunteers will transform an empty lot into a kid-designed, state-of-the-art playground in just six hours at Wooten Neighborhood Park. The new playground will provide a space for Austin kids and families to develop skills essential to physical, creative, social and emotional growth.

Austinites are invited to volunteer for this special project. There are three days of volunteer opportunities available. The first two on Monday and Tuesday will be prep days and Wednesday, November 6 will be the build day. No construction experience is necessary, and there are jobs available for all ability levels.
