Austin Women, Wine, and Fashionistas: Silver Wonderland Glitz and Glam Concert

Presented by Artistic Education Company and City of Austin Cultural Arts Division and Austin Creative Alliance at Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center.

Guests (ticket holders) will have a chance to explore our silent auction and complimentary wine & cheese during the intermission between 8:00-9:00 with items from notable Twin Liquors, Austin Texas Wine Society, and Silent Auction items from Austin based businesses. After the intermission, guests can enjoy dancing in the MACC Auditorium with a notable Austin based DJ! Wear your most glamorous and glitzy dress to the stage for this FUN evening to benefit two non-profit organizations, both Austin Creative Alliance and Artistic Education Company make a difference with the performing and fine arts in the greater Austin region.

The headliner for our Silver Wonderland New Year Concert will include two children’s musical acts; the Sarah Jane Hargis’s Flute Choir and Austin Glitz & Glam Choir w/Austin ISD Schools.

This concert will bring an Austin Fashion Show to the stage with new fashion designers, set to a silver wonderland theme with dancers and musicians take to the stage. Join us for this unique Silver Wonderland Show!

The event is put on by a local nonprofit, Artistic Education Company, which provides services as a strategic arts partner with Austin ISD Schools to impact and advance innovation and originality with children and youth in the Central Texas region. Pre-Event Open bar for ticket admission holders with wrist band upon check-in from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. during silent auction. Guests will be seated for the concert between 6:45-7:00 p.m. Concert headliner begins right at 7:00 p.m. sharp. No alcohol permitted inside the Auditorium during the concert or dance hour, Open Bar will be situated in the Auditorium Foyer Area. Spirits courtesy of Twin Liquor and Lapis Lunas Wines served again from 9:00-10:00 p.m. in the foyer with dancing in the Auditorium after the concert with DJ Feelthy Good People to kick off the evening with a New Year’s Toast! Free parking passes given to ticket holders.

Free Parking is available to guests attending the center’s programs, galleries and special events. A temporary parking pass is available in the main office. There is also metered street parking available.
