Have you always wanted to write a children’s book?
The Latinx Children’s Book Project is a two-hour workshop created by Valerie Menard to encourage and groom first-time Latinx children’s book writers. It will be led by published author Emma Otheguy who will provide tips and advice about book publishing and getting your creative juices flowing. Otheguy will also read from her new book, Silver Meadows Summer.
The event is followed by a FREE reception, 6–8 p.m. for the author at La Peña, 227 Congress Ave., Austin, TX.
