AARC Two-Year Anniversary Celebration and “I Want the Wide American Earth” Smithsonian Exhibit Grand Opening

Grand Opening of “I Want the Wide American Earth” Smithsonian Exhibit featuring special guest speaker Dr. Konrad Ng, Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center Director in Washington, D.C. Several interactive activities are designed to celebrate and encourage the histories of attendees including a Preservation Station & Digital Archiving from the Austin History Center, guided oral history interviews, Asian American video stories, crafts for kids, origami wish lantern workshop, Typewriter Rodeo, two-year anniversary cake and light refreshments and more.
