Blue Lapis Light is Austin’s one and only site-specific aerial dance company! Blue Lapis company dancers specialize in creating aerial dance works on different architecture around Austin and beyond. The last two weekends of September, you can find them dancing and rapelling off of the IBC Bank in Downtown Austin for their performance, In Light! In Light features aerialists performing off the side of IBC, dancers on Chinese poles on the 9th floor and and an ensemble of dancers scattered throughout the scaffolding of IBC.
