Presented by King Productions at Mosaic Theatre

The Preacher’s Wife is a stage play incorporating theater and music. Robert King Jr. is writing this new stage adaptation that is loosely based off the book by Robert Nathan in 1928, The Bishop’s Wife. It sparked the 1945 film and remake in 1966. Still using the same character names, but with a new modern-day twist. In this stage adaptation, Dudley has been waiting to earn his wings. After God shows Dudley flashbacks through Julia and Henry’s life, God finally decides Dudley is equipped with enough information for the task. Dudley poses as the answer to Pastor Henry Bigg’s prayer request. While trying to assist Henry with his problems, Dudley gets distracted by his wife, Julia. It has feel good message, uplifting, and shines the light on preacher wives with empathy.
