Come listen in as we share our stories in song and prepare for the following Tuesday Morning Musicale and Song Swap.
Songwriters from the Finders Keepers Project will be rehearsing for the upcoming Morning Musicale and Song Swap the following Tuesday morning. You are invited! This will be the first in a series of events held on the ASH campus. Finders Keepers, Finding and Keeping our Voice through Songwriting and Performing, is a project of Teel Montague, funded by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin and sponsored by Imagine Art. Join Teel and guests as we use the power of music to break down the walls of stigma that separate us. Hear songs from the souls and spirits of artist peers, who are using their collective voice to overcome obstacles.
Join in the process! Audience members will have the opportunity to add lines in a soothing blues jam.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Donations are greatly appreciated and necessary to promote the work of Finders Keepers to provide performance opportunities for artists who may have experienced being marginalized due to life circumstances.
