Southpaw Jones has been that guy for over a decade now. Telling Austin how it be and how it oughta, ya see? Laying down original tunes, one after the other, sometimes enjoying applause in between. That’s just how it is being a musician in a (snap, clap) music venue.

But the Institution Theater is more than a common music venue; it’s a barrel full of quarter-note riff-dwellers who seek the squeak of a laughed-out cheek. Southpaw Jones Does What He Wants runs Friday, Sept. 18, Saturday, Sept. 19, Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26. All shows begin at 8 PM.
