Erica Nix dives into uncharted waters in this aquatic spectacular taking place at the Austin Motel pool. THIS IS NOT A CULT will take the audience on a journey of self-actualization through a multimedia performance that is part self-help conference and part psychedelic descent into the Id.  Game show segments, exercise routines, guided meditations, video commercials, and TED talk style monologues combine to satirize wellness culture, but ultimately offer the audience release from the dread of modern day anxiety. Either sit on the deck or take in the show from the pool as Erica and her team of private dancers take you on a journey of the soul. Prepare to be transformed!
