Want to learn an approach to revision that will allow you to see what your book is missing without getting overwhelmed?
Revision can be the most rewarding part of the writing process, but it can also be the most overwhelming. During revision, your manuscript might get worse before it gets better, so how do you go through that without getting stuck in the mess and losing your way entirely? This class will provide a logical sequence of steps to make the revision process more purposeful and productive.
This half-day class will talk about a layering approach to revision – sweeping through your manuscript and addressing one issue at a time. The instructor will discuss a logical sequence of “layers” and experiment with different formats for creating a revision plan that works for you and your manuscript.
