Fun for all ages, with story tellers, fortune tellers, games, live music, crafts, silent films, and 3 trails that will allow visitors to choose their scare level.

Our G rated White Trail is a short walk filled with familiar, friendly characters from Grimm’s Fairy Tales. This trail is geared for very young children with a stroller friendly path and easy access for mobility impaired visitors.

The Yellow Trail is rated PG and may not be suitable for very young children. The trail winds through the historic houses and detours a short way through the spooky woods with surprises around every corner. This 1/2 mile long path features some of the darker fairy tale characters and a few boo scares.

For our most adventurous visitors we offer a new Red Trail, rated PG-14. This trail begins as the Yellow Trail but branches from that at our Tonkawa Encampment to follow the banks of Walnut Creek through the deepest, darkest, and spookiest part of the woods before winding back up the hill to exit back on the Yellow Trail and return to the village. Beware the Big Bad Wolf who may be lurking somewhere in the dark woods. We’ve pulled ideas from the orginal Grimm’s collection of stories from 1812 and 1815. The trail is not suitable for young children and even some older children may be uncomfortable on this path.
