The Texas Marching Classic is a high school band competition held at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, Austin, TX. The competition is host to approximately 25 marching bands from the central Texas region. Competing bands include previous Grand Nationals Finalist bands as well as several UIL state finalist bands. Each band will compete in a Preliminary competition for class awards as well as for music and visual performance trophies. The internationally renowned judges will select the top ten (10) bands to compete in a Finals competition during the evening session.
The event provides each band the opportunity to receive valuable feedback and to perform their new 2015-2016 show for a local audience.
Gates open at approximately 8:00am and a full service concessions stand is available for spectators.
