In this musical comedy, Lawrence makes his living by talking ladies out of their money. Freddy swindles them with stories about his grandmother’s health. They team up only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them!
Mark your calendars for the musical comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”
Book by Jeffrey Lane. Music and Lyrics by David Yazbeck. Directed by Mike Rademaekers and Les Young. Choreography by Kristi Stere
Based on the popular 1988 film, and nominated for 11 Tony Awards, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” takes us to the French Riviera for hijinks and hilarity. Lawrence Jameson makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson more humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together, only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them.
