The Central Library launches a special Tween Zine shelf this summer and invites youth – ages 9-12 – to write, illustrate and produce handmade zines for the shelf. Storybook Studio sponsors a kickoff camp – Five fun filled 1/2 days of open studio space filled with zine making supplies that invite the youth to create.

The camp dates are June 17-21 between 1-4pm.  Participants pop into the studios to access paper, binding materials and tools for writing and illustrating.  Handmade books can be submitted for inclusion on the Tween Zine shelf.
