Presented by Puerto Rican Cultural Center at Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance and Cultural Center

Indigenous people love the Earth EVERYDAY! Join the Puerto Rican Cultural Center as we host the Concilio Taino Pueblo en Tejas, Native American, and Earth-Loving friends under the Grandmother Pecan Trees to share Lifeways that honor the Earth!

Come learn about activities that you can do from your own backyard to help the Earth in this time of crisis.

The afternoon will feature hands on and interactive activities for the whole family including:
— Native Plant Seed Balls
Good Water Texas Master Naturalists
— Interactive Native Children’s Games by Skye Howell
Descendent of the Potawatomi and Ottawa tribal nations.
— Batu – Ancestral Ballgame (cross btw soccer & football)

Austin Bat Refuge
— Wearable Seedlings

This celebration will take place outdoors (or indoors if rain).  Entrance is in back facing the lawn, steps away from free parking.
