Enjoy a drive by Denise Prince’s advertising inspired public art piece, Captivating Not Captive (5306 Middle Fiskville Road) during the month of April, daylight hours. On April 27^th there will be a performance on site from 4-5pm. Afterwards, walk around the corner for an informal “reception” at Lammes Candies where you’ll be treated to a sweet treat.

Conversation will include a theme proposed by the work: If beauty is exclusive and subject to rules, then freedom is obscured by limits and obstacles to the spontaneity essential to beauty and play.
