Gregg Rolie

Presented by One World Theatre at One World Theatre

World-class keyboardist, vocalist, and producer Gregg Rolie is responsible for co-founding phenomenally popular, multi-platinum supergroups Santana and Journey. He is also known for The Storm, whose membership included two other Journey band members, and Abraxas Pool, which featured Gregg and five other original Santana members. In addition to his now-legendary earlier collaborations, he has also enjoyed several successful solo releases and currently performs with his Gregg Rolie Band. In 1998, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with the original Santana band.

Gregg’s singing talents will forever be immortalized by his unforgettable lead vocals on classic Santana greatest hits including ‘Black Magic Woman‘ ‘Evil Ways‘ and the Tito Puente composition ‘Oye Como Va‘. In addition to co-launching Santana, Rolie also co-produced their first four groundbreaking albums and appeared with them at Woodstock. After forming Journey with former Santana guitarist Neal Schon in 1972, Gregg lent his considerable vocal and keyboard prowess to the endeavor, plus co-wrote and co-produced Journey’s first seven albums. He credits the Journey era with substantially honing his songwriting skills as well.
