Karla Bonoff has been described as one of the finest singer/songwriters of her generation. A songwriter by age 15, the Southern California native has enjoyed a career spanning four decades along with critical acclaim, commercial success, enduring popularity, and the unwavering respect of her peers. In addition to achieving chart success with her own recordings, Bonoff has seen her songs become hits for stars like Bonnie Raitt, Wynonna Judd, and Linda Ronstadt. Many of her ballads are now pop classics.

Karla is also noted for her 1982 hit recording of ‘Personally‘, ‘Somebody’s Eyes‘ featured on the 1984 Footloose soundtrack, and 1994’s ‘Standing Right Next To Me‘ from the 8 Seconds soundtrack. By 1990, Karla had not only headlined, but also opened for James Taylor and Jackson Browne and toured with Raitt, John Prine, and J.D. Souther.
