About the Artists: Felix Slovacek Sr. clarinetist, saxophonist conductor, and pedagogist studied piano and violin much of his youth; but his real interest in clarinet, and later, saxophone began after finishing high school. He has worked in all genres of music, including classical, children’s music, jazz. As a soloist in classical music, he has performed with most of the major orchestras of Eastern Europe and Italy. Pianist Vyacheslav Grokhovsky, Jr is a prizewinner of international competitions. Vyacheslav performs extensively as a soloist and as a chamber musician. He is a member of the E. Napravnik Piano Trio and chief director of the International Eduard Napravnik Music Festival in the Czech Republic. His international appearances include festivals in Italy, France, the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany and Russia. Czech Clarinetist Felix Slováček, Jr. is a versatile and charismatic artist who comfortably navigates the worlds of classical music and jazz as well as  the musical theater, where he performs as a singer and actor.
