Fredericksburg's Family Ties: a Lecture by Kenneth Hafertepe

What historical forces gave us the Texas Hill Country that we see blossoming today? Neill-Cochran House Museum and Preservation Austin welcome regional historian Dr. Kenneth Hafertepe for “Fredericksburg’s Family Ties: Tracking Architectural and Cultural Change through the Generations.” a guest lecture about that town in the heart of the Hill Country on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Drawing on the research from his most recent book, Dr. Hafertepe’s lecture will introduce and interpret the unique Fredericksburg Texana that you might not notice on a drive down US 290.

This event is free and open to the public with freewill donations accepted online and at the door. Complimentary refreshments will be served at 2pm and parking is available free behind the museum to all visitors.
