Internationally known steel pan legend Liam Teague performs with the combined steel bands of James Bowie High School and McCallum High School at the beautiful One World Theatre. Internationally know steel pan legend Liam Teague joins the James Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum High School Knights of Steel for the 22nd Annual Inside Out Steelband Festival. The combined Bowie and McCallum groups will come together to form a 35 piece steelband, involving a total of over 60 muscians throughout the course of the concert. Limited seating is available for this rare show in the intimate setting of One World Theatre.

Liam Teague is Professor of Music and Head of Steelpan studies at Northern Illinois University (NIU), where he also directs the renowned NIU Steelband. Teague is also the recipient of an NIU Presidential Research, Scholarship and Artistry Professor Award. Hailed as the “Paganini of the Steelpan”, his commitment to demonstrating the great musical possibilities of the steelpan has taken him to throughout the world, and he has received many awards from his homeland of Trinidad and Tobago, including the Humming Bird National Award (Silver) and the Ansa McAl Caribbean Award for Excellence.
