One Ounce Opera presents the 4th Annual Fresh Squeezed Ounce of Opera in an intimate, accessible warehouse space in the heart of East Austin. Selected after a competitive national call, experience this year’s winning crop of new micro-operas, performed in English, and meet the hip creators who penned them. Intriguing characters, unexpected stories, varied styles and colors: taste the future of opera, one ounce at a time!

Admission Info

Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime, general admission seating.

All performances at Museum of Human Achievement, in the Canopy complex at 916 Springdale. We will have yellow neon signs to lead you in!

In this intimate venue, there are LESS THAN 100 ADMITTED PER PERFORMANCE. Past FSOOs have sold out, and with the buzz around this year’s showcase, we expect it to sell quickly. A donation to our Indiegogo campaign secures your seat, $20 for one or $35 for two. Admission is also at the door, $20.

Note: Sunday, March 24 at 2pm is a FREE COMMUNITY PERFORMANCE. Donations accepted.
