One of Austin’s longest-running performance festivals, FronteraFest returns in 2019 for its 26th year. A legendary vehicle for artists, actors, musicians, poets and performers of all types, FronteraFest has grown from a fledgling project into one of the largest and most popular fringe performance festivals in the Southwest.

FronteraFest is a unique collaboration between two of Austin’s most well-known and respected arts organizations, Hyde Park Theatre, an award-winning professional theatre in Central Austin, and ScriptWorks, a playwright development and service organization with members in Texas and throughout the country.
