Way Off Broadway Community Players present the last show of our 18thth season with Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore’s rollicking comedy, “Wrong Window”,  which is being directed by Rick White.  Opening Night is June 5, 2015, and the show runs  June 5, 6; 12,13; 19,20; 26, 27 at 8pm. Our Sunday Matinee on June 14, at 3pm.  

The Story:

A crazy, farcical whodunit that is a tribute (via spoof) to the Master of Horror, Alfred Hitchcock.  Off-and-on New York couple Marnie and Jeff enter an even more complicated phase of their relationship when they think they spy their cross-courtyard neighbor do away with his wife.  After they draw their torn curtain, the lady vanishes, and suspicion places murder beyond a shadow of a doubt.  The bumbling witnesses sneak into their neighbor’s apartment – 39 steps away – and the fun begins.  Among multiple door-slammings, body-snatchings, and a frantic flashlight chase scene, two questions remain:  Who killed Lila? And … if she’s not dead … then who is?  A barrage of gag-filled dialogue.  Knee-slappingly funny from start to finish!  Take the money and run to this window before it closes!  Peppered with Hitchcock references plus laughs aplenty, Wrong Window is the right choice!

Way Off Broadway Community Players’ theater is located in building 4 of the 2243 Business Park at 11880 West FM 2243 in Leander, 1 mile west of Hwy. 183, just east of Bagdad Road.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students (with ID), seniors (60 Plus) Military (with ID), and $10 for children (10 and younger).  While tickets will be sold at the door, reservations are encouraged.
