In partnership with the City of Austin, TreeFolks is giving away 1,000 free trees to Austin Residents and Austin Energy customers through Asian American Resource Center’s NeighborWoods program.

Their second large giveaway of the season will be at the Asian American Resource Center (8401 Cameron Rd, Austin, Texas 78754) from 9 am to 12 pm. The event is first come first serve and one tree per person with a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency.

Trees are subject to availability. Below is a list of the tree species that will be given away:

Large stature trees:
– Pecan (Bare Root)
– Red Oak
– Burr Oak
– Live Oak

Small stature trees:
– Cherry Laurel
– Mexican Buckeye
– Eve’s Necklace

Fruit Trees:
– Loquat
– Peach
