The Lifted Traces team returns on February 9, 2019 with a gigantic, immersive film experience for one of the most psychedelic animated tales ever made: Fantastic Planet.
The installation team will transform the 8,000 sq ft warehouse space located at the Austin School of Film into a pop-up Fantastic Planet-themed movie theater. There will be an hour before each performance to utilize our photo booth, experience the installations, and eat small bites prepared on site by Austin Daily Press, and more.
A supergroup of award-winning musicians featuring Joey Postiglione, Patrick Edwards, and Charlie Russell, will perform a once-in-a-lifetime, concrete-shaking, original synthesized score in accompaniment of the film.
Tickets are available for purchase at LIFTEDTRACES.COM/FANTASTIC-PLANET, and in the interest of keeping pricing accessible, are $14. 100% of that money goes towards screening and venue fees, building materials, and helping ensure we can continue to produce unique, diverse, and community-driven programming.
