Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company presents the premiere of “BE STILL, MY HEART,” Hamrick’s large-scale, full-length, impressionistic work featuring virtuosic dancing, humor, gesture, and references to cinema. Performed in the round to an original, live score, audience members are seated up close to fully experience the sights, sounds, and kinetic energy of Hamrick’s award-winning choreography and critically-acclaimed dancers. Says Hamrick, “It’s up to each audience member to decide if my work is funny, poignant, moving, odd, eerie, disturbing, beautiful or all of the above. People bring their own history to, and see their own reflection in, my work. In that sense, every dance is tailor-made for each and every viewer.”  This performance runs approximately 60 minutes without intermission.
