Comfort and Joy: An Amphion Christmas

Presented by Amphion Youth Choir at University Christian Church

You are invited to Comfort and Joy: An Amphion Christmas. This annual holiday tradition brings current Amphion members and alumni together for an evening of carol singing, old and new, traditional to contemporary.

This performance is benefitting Micah 6 of Austin. Monetary and canned food donations are highly encouraged.

The mission of Micah 6 of Austin is to work together to identify and meet the needs of the homeless and the impoverished in the University of Texas campus area.

What food should I bring?

Items with intact, unopened consumer or commercial packaging
items with non-breakable packaging (no glass, please)
food within the expiration date on the packaging
food from your community or backyard garden
healthy, non-perishable food

What non-perishable foods do we need the most?

canned meats like tuna, stew and chili (pop-tops preferred)
canned vegetables
pasta and pasta sauce
beans
healthy cereals
peanut butter
UHT packaged milk and juice that requires no refrigeration
(Ultra High Temperature, or long shelf storage packing)

This project is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department.

Admission Info

Admission is free, however, monetary donations and canned food will be collected at the door.
