A Dickens Christmas in Lockhart

For the past 29 years, a Dickens Christmas in Lockhart has joyfully welcomed the holiday season to Lockhart, TX! Come join the merriment at this community-wide event for families. The festivities kick off with the a lighted parade on the courthouse square Friday night at 7pm. Then all day Sat the holiday celebration continues with food, arts & crafts vendors, and free family friendly activities and entertainment. These include Father Christmas, hay rides, and ice sculptor, jugglers, and much more! The activities are FREE so every child can take part in the fun! The evening ends with the lighting of the ylule log and a proclamation that Christmas has come to light. Then the library and the historic downtown are lit with thousands of lights.
