Studio Series occurs monthly and invites the public into Elizabeth Chiles’ art studio to view and discuss new works. Usually for a single night, this month, will be extended to Saturday and Sunday during EAST, November 10, 11, 17, 18
This month, Elizabeth Chiles will be debuting several new photographic collages, including one recently made for the East Austin Studio Tour catalogue cover, which celebrates Native Trees. To see all of the tree art commissioned by Big Medium for EAST, follow the Tree Folks guided tour of EAST. This highlights the 10 artists who made work inspired by a particular native tree. Chiles’ tree was the Redbud (see above image).
