The 13th APFF runs from November 8th through 11th , with special events celebrating 100 Years of Poland regained independence on November 18th,
Featuring award winning works from accomplished and upcoming filmmakers and hosts guests like directors, actors, screenwriters, and producers. During the festival, the APFF will present an art exhibit of travel poster-inspired works by artist Ryszard Kaja from his series “Poland” as part of the centennial celebrations. As always, an entertaining children program and delicious polish food by Apolonia catering are included in the program.
This year the festival will also feature special screenings of critically acclaimed movies portraying Polish history in honor of the centennial celebration of Poland’s regained independence in 1918. For details on the Independence celebrations go to www.austinpolishsociety.org
