Multiple GRAMMY winning, multi instrumentalist and composer/producer Marcus Miller has certainly made his mark in the jazz world. In among the most enviable careers in music, Miller’s most recent album Renaissance (2012) is only surprising considering the number of collaborations this ‘go to’ composer has done since his 1983 Suddenly debut. 

His resume as an A-list player brims with over 500 recording credits including Eric Clapton, Dizzy Gillespie, Roberta Flack, Paul Simon, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Billy Idol, Snoop Dogg and Dave Koz. Miller was the last primary collaborator of jazz legend Miles Davis and producer, composer and player on Luther Vandross’ GRAMMY winning ‘Power of Love / Love Power’ (1991 R&B song of the year).
