CMFW Orchestra Concert

CMFW Orchestra Concert

Presented by Classical Music for the World at Oak Hill United Methodist Church

With soloists Francesco Mastromatteo, cello; Michael Schneider, piano, Nick Hammel, violin; and conductor Michael Schneider, CMFW Artist-in-Residence. The program includes works by Haydn, Mozart and Vivaldi.

The CMFW Orchestra gives an opportunity for musicians to make harmony together beyond social status and age barriers. To keep our music highly artistic, we invite professional musicians to play in the orchestra as well as advanced-level students and amateur adult musicians.

The orchestra members will play this concert to improve the world around us and the society we live in. This music will inspire people to look for beauty and, most importantly, to share life, whether in good or bad times. This performance is about celebrating the human beings we are through music. The orchestra also gives an opportunity for musicians to make harmony together beyond social status and age barriers. To keep the music highly artistic, CMFW Orchestra invites professional musicians to play in the orchestra as well as advanced-level students and amateur adult musicians.

In this concert, they are playing Vivaldi, Haydn, and Mozart, who together represent the eras from baroque to classical.
