Created and hosted by long-term Texas legislative staffer Stephanie Chiarello, Over the Lege brings together political insiders, improv actors, and comedy writers to expose the shenanigans of the Texas Legislature.  The show is co-directed by comedic legend Tom Booker, musical accompaniment by Denise Hudson, and starring Amy Lowrey and Griffin Gardner who lead an incredible cast of comedians. In a time when we all need a reprieve from watching the news, what better way to learn about the inner workings of the Texas legislature than through song, dance, and sketch comedy?

Over the Lege is presented in two acts. In the first, you’ll say “wait, is that really true?” while guffawing at the policies and actions from our legislature (yes, they passed a law letting you hunt feral hogs from a hot air balloon). The second act is an interview with a real Texas political celebrity, where you’ll learn the inside scoop on the operations of the Texas Legislature. Guests include:
