The theme for the evening is WHITE. The reading will be from a new play by James Ijames called WHITE. They play tells the story of Gus, a gay white male artist who thinks he is not getting enough credit for his work so he hires a black queer female to say the work is hers. This work explores race, gender, and identity. The painters will explore ways to paint with white paint. The immersive creative activities will get participants to explore their own identity and how the world sees them.
