Drawing from the rich country rock music bed that came out of the 1970s, Firefall established their place in American folk/rock music history with amazing harmonies, colorful layers, and mellow lyrics. At a time when Randy Meisner, Poco, and The Flying Burrito Brothers were leading the charge of country rock, Firefall broke away and carried the torch. The Boulder, Colorado, outfit continues to grow even more than 30 years later. Known for a string of hits on Billboards Hot 100 Chart, including “You Are The Woman” (No. 9) “Just Remember I Love You,” (No. 11), “Cinderella,” “Strange Way” (No. 11), “So Long,” “Goodbye I Love You,” “Heading For a Fall,” “Staying With It,” and “Always,” Firefall’s albums have reached gold and multi-platinum status. The current lineup includes founder Jock Bartley (vocals, lead guitar), Mark Andes (bass, vocals), David Muse (keys, sax, flute, harmonica, vocals), Steven Weinmeister (vocals, guitar), Sandy Ficca (drums), and Jamey Crow Barley (drums). Their energetic live performances often include acoustic mini-sets and tightly woven jam sessions. At the same time, Firefall adds freshness to their songs that saturated the airwaves.
