A Shakespearean Evening

A Shakespearean Evening

Presented by Austin Symphony Orchestra at The Long Center: Michael and Susan Dell Hall

Berlioz and Walton succeed at bringing the remarkable and expressive words of William Shakespeare to life through music. Stories of love, heroism and triumph, how can you go wrong?! Considered one of the greatest writers of all time, Shakespeare’s beloved story of “Romeo and Juliet” along with “Henry V” are given melodic characters sung by the brilliant voices of Chorus Austin and narrated by Austin’s own Robert Faires.

Still want more? How about playing on some string instruments provided by our friends at Violin’s Etc.? We also have a wonderful pre-concert talk given by Bob Buckalew at 7:10 pm. How about “tweeting” with our musicians and ASO staff? Take a photo in front of our photo wall. Come “Hear a Great Story” with YOUR Austin Symphony!
