Join Austin Symphony for Music of Mozart & Bruckner with William Hagen, violin.
Two talented composers from different times complement each other on this program, Mozart with his spirited Violin Concerto No. 4 and Bruckner’s powerful Ninth Symphony. Both from Austria but born decades a part, these champions of their craft left behind music which resonates with generation after generation. Hailed as a “brilliant virtuoso…a standout” (The Dallas Morning News), the ASO welcomes soloist William Hagen as he performs the Mozart Concerto on his 1735 “Sennhauser” Guarneri del Gesù!
Still want more? How about playing on some string instruments provided by our friends at Violin’s Etc.? We also have a wonderful pre-concert talk given by Bob Buckalew at 7:10 pm. How about “tweeting” with our musicians and ASO staff? Take a photo in front of our photo wall. Come “Hear a Great Story” with YOUR Austin Symphony!
