Beer-themed classical concert with an experimental ensemble of winds, piano, strings, and percussion.
Two seasons and who-knows how many beers ago, Hear No Evil gave two riveting performances in the upstairs of Saengerrunde Hall as part of our third Beerthoven Concert Series season. Beerthoven is proud to clink mugs once again with this experimental group of winds, piano, cello, and percussion for the opening show of its fifth season–Dance Machine.
This show will have you tapping your feet and swinging your mugs to Hungarian Dances by Brahms, jazzy duos by Henryson and Muczynski, the steady and soothing pulses of Paul Lansky’s Horizons, and the driving rhythms of Workers Union by Louis Andriessen.
Beerthoven events include free beer, wine, and other refreshments and are family-friendly.
