The Heart of Texas West Coast Swing Dancers provide events to celebrate the love and energy of west coast swing dancing. The dance form originated after World War II and was called Western Dancing.  It evolved into Whip Dancing and later West Coast Swing (WCS). Dance conventions features the WCS dance occur not only in the United States but in countries around the world.

Dance professionals Brandon & Kristen Parker have been dancing and competing in west coast swing contests for years.  They will demonstrate their expertise at the August 25th dance event.
