“Emergence” is a one-night mini-festival of short films, all created locally by new or emerging filmmakers. The films have each been hand-selected for their unique approach. Emotive original dialogue, innovative cinematography, a haunting musical score, beautiful and visceral movement, and intelligent stories will capture your imagination throughout the evening. Open to the general public for all ages.

This is also a premiere screening of dance film “Bloom” directed by Yelena Laningham, winner of the community initiatives award from the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division and the Q Rental Subsidy Grant from The Creative Fund.
