Since its creation, Austin Pets Alive!’s Parvo Puppy program has saved over 4,000 puppies that would have otherwise been euthanized, and is now spearheading research into Parvo treatment.
On Sunday, August 26th, join Austin Pets Alive! for the 7th annual Paddle for Puppies, presented by Austin Subaru and benefitting APA!’s Parvo Puppy ICU. Grab your friends and family and come support Austin’s parvo puppies at Rowing Dock for a pet-friendly paddle – your water-loving dog is invited, too! Check-in begins at 6:45 the morning of August 26th, before the heat sets in.
Tickets are $40 and are available now! You can’t buy tickets at event so make sure to register online!

The paddle begins at 7:45 AM at Rowing Dock. Participants will make their way towards the Austin American Statesman property, 2.5 miles down the river and just past the Congress Street Bridge. Depending on skill level/wind/current, etc., this should take about an hour. From there, paddlers will turn around and head back to Rowing Dock. The entire journey will be accompanied by live music – on the water!
