Join the Frake family as they leave the farm for three days of adventure!
Mark your calendars for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “State Fair”
With music by Richard Rodgers, and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, this beloved musical sees the Frake family leave behind the routine of the farm for three days of adventure at the Iowa State Fair. Mom and Pop have their hearts set on blue ribbons while their daughter and son find romance and heartbreak on the midway. Written by Tom Briggs and Louis Mattioli, and based on the screenplay by Oscar Hammerstein II and the novel by Phil Strong, “State Fair” is the kind of warm-hearted family entertainment only Rodgers and Hammerstein could deliver.
