DANCE SHOWS!  Friday evening’s “Keep Austin Shimmying” Gala and Saturday evening’s “Austin Raqs” Gala, featuring world renowned performers, as well as Austin’s own internationally known dancers and musicians. Both shows start at 7:00pm with a cover of $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

LIVE MUSIC! Four Live Music Shows feature Jef Stott (Fri. & Sat. night), Stoneburner (Sat. night), Badrawn (Sat. night) Sand Atlas Maior (Sat. afternoon).

CLUB NIGHTS!  Two late night shows with different feels to enjoy with friends. Join us Friday night 10 pm at Kick Butt Coffee for a live drum circle and performing dancers.

FREE ENTRY! The ABDC Showcases and entry to all vendors Saturday (12:30-5:00pm) and Sunday afternoon (1:00-3:00pm) are free.

WORKSHOPS! Over 30 hours of instruction for several types of Belly Dance, Musical Instruction, Folkloric, and Costuming. Classes are Friday 1:00-5:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm, and Sunday 9:00am-3:00pm. Workshops pricing varies from $40-$80.

The ABDC’s continues in a twenty year tradition of bringing together dancers, musicians, vendors, and audiences from all over the world to Austin in order to celebrate the art of Middle Eastern dance. The ABDC’s workshops and presentations offer a wide variety of topics and styles that will satisfy any novice and professional’s interest in dance, music, and health.
