TILT Performance Group presents a devised production, BACK/STAGE.
TILT is a theatre company comprised of adults with disabilities who love and work in theatre. Travel with TILT behind the curtain and into the hears of our cast of storytellers in Back/Stage as they answer Director Nick Mayo\’s question: Why do we tell stories? They have created an original script chock full of moving and comedic moments. The tales they tell are sure to remain with you.
TILT is thrilled to have been directed in this show by Nick Mayo. Nick has taught classes, workshops, and served as a guest instructor at Interlochen Arts Academy, The Juilliard School, The University of Texas, North East School of the Arts, The Kennedy Center Summer Educational programming, and The Shubert Organization educational outreach. Nick is the Head of Acting for the Texas Arts Project and the College Audition Program at The Long Center. He is the Associate Producer of Summer Stock Austin. As a director, Nick won the 2016 Austin Critics Table Award for Best Musical for She Loves Me at St. Edward’s University. He recently directed The Drowsy Chaperone at the University of Texas.
