An Evening on Texas Water, featuring Yakona screening

An Evening on Texas Water is a free, public event that explores the past, present, and future of water resources in Texas! The event includes a screening of Yakona, an award winning film exploring the San Marcos River just 30 miles south of Austin, with a LIVE SCORE PERFORMANCE by Montopolis Quartet and an introduction by the filmmaker. Following the screening, a panel discussion by Texas water experts will explore the relationship of humans and water resources historically in Texas and what we want that relationship to look like in the future. The panel includes Dr. Robert Mace, Dr. Michael Young, and Vanessa Puig-Williams. No RSVP Required. Beer and pizza available for purchase at the venue.
