The Central Texas African American Family Support Conference provides information and educational opportunities about mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders and physical health issues. The conference supports the African American community and embraces all members of the community regardless of race.
The mission of the conference is to strengthen family and individual awareness of available behavioral and physical health care services through culturally sensitive education, supportĀ and partnerships. The conference strives to reduce stigma and eliminate health disparities.
