The Bloody Countess of Hungary rips it wide open for Halloween with Erzsebet Bathori’s Naked Feast on Saturday, October 14. An annual fundraiser for The VORTEX, this year’s Naked Feast launches 30 Years of Truth and Thunder, our 30^th season of new work. We are thrilled to announce that we received an ASAP grant from the City of Austin to support the renovation of our deck and outdoor spaces. Our goal for this fundraiser is to match the 35K from the City to help us rebuild and put a roof on our deck and proceed with the master plan for the facilities improvements that will make The VORTEX a more sustainable performance space in years to come.

Previous Naked Feasts have included Salvador Dali’s Naked Feast and Naked Feast: Atlantis. Now there will be blood, vampires, and undead. A bloody good time. Costumes strongly encouraged.

The Silent Auction includes beautiful, one-of-a-kind, handcrafted arts, dinners from local business partners, professional services, and a brand-new, super cool hoverboard! Join us to celebrate 30 years of Truth and Thunder with a big bite of Naked Feast.
