The Austin Film Society and ATX Gals are partnering on September 30, 2017 to bring you Discovery: A Celebration of Women in Art and Film. The exhibit will shine a spotlight on the work of emerging women in the world of visual art and storytelling.
Held at AFS Cinema, the event will be kicked off with a screening of Jillian Schlesinger’s SXSW award-winning documentary MAIDENTRIP, followed by exhibitions by 15 local female artists in the AFS Cinema event hall.
